Self care is often on the bottom of our to do list. Should it be? |

The Goal of this holistic nurse is to facilitate your health through neurofeedback training, education and mind/body balancing (or compassionate touch). Self care is something that we often neglect or put near the bottom of our to do lists. When this happens, we often become stressed or if it continues long enough, ill, burned out or depressed. Through personal experiences with illness and injuries this holistic nurse has learned how to combine knowledge from several different courses of study and her own experience to provide individualized care to promote healing. Healing can be decreasing pain, increasing flexibility or decreasing other symptoms. HOW? Education: Educational programs can be used to expand your knowledge, understanding and interests in self care. Neurofeedback Training allows the brains (central nervous system) to become less reactive and more responsive throughout the body resulting in changes in mental and physical conditions. Mind/Body Balancing is actually energy based techniques that are used to help rebuild and strengthen mind/body connections that result in reduction of symptoms associated with illness or injury. |
